"Love, Hate, and Pizza"

Recently, I told a friend I have a love/hate relationship with pizza. The love is that pizza is cheesy and delicious. It's great food for a party or if you need something to scarf before hopping on the subway home. The hate is that I've eaten so much pizza I'm sick of it, bored with it, and exhausted by it. Of all the foods in the universe, pizza is the one I've consumed the most during my time on earth. So please, can't we order anything else?

My friend said, "That all just sounds like love to me." Dang, I thought. That's a complicated truth. Am I in a long-term relationship with pizza, and this is what love feels like over the long haul??
